Chicken strips at School

Today, I had chicken strips for lunch at school. They were chicken-y, spicy and awesome! I will definitely eat them again. We also had chocolate cake and it was awesome too. The grapes were good. I had chocolate milk to drink. (Sorry I have no pictures.)

Crispy Chicken Sandwich, Wendy's

I have found a new restaurant! Mommy and I went on some adventures this weekend and I decided I wanted to try eating at Wendy's because I had seen the ads for the crispy chicken sandwich. I was not disappointed. I love this sandwich. I got it in the kids meal. Usually, the version in the kids meal comes plain. I asked for lettuce on mine. I also got fries and a chocolate milk. It was really yummy. The crispy chicken sandwich also comes on the $.99 menu so try it! The fries are really good too.

Kinnick Stadium

After a bye week, the Hawkeyes played Bucky the Badger at Kinnick Stadium. I decided to try the chicken strip and fry basket. They were OK. They game wasn't. The Hawkeyes lost to Bucky.

Divots, Coralville

Divots is the clubhouse at Brown Deer Golf Club. I like eating there after playing golf with Daddy. This picture is from this summer. My usual meal is the pizza, carrot sticks and root beer. This night I decided to try the chicken strips with waffle fries. They were yummy. They were crispy. The waffle fries were so good. I would definitely recommend this meal.

Big gap

Sorry for the big gap between posts. Mommy's computer died. She has a new one now. She and I will be catching up the next few days. I've been eating chicken strips!

Spaghetti Works, Des Moines

Tonight, Daddy and I met grandmommy and Aunt Amy at Spaghetti Works in Des Moines. We went there for dinner before we went to the Iowa Cubs game. Ryne Sandberg, mommy's favorite Cub, manages the Iowa Cubs but he wasn't there tonight. He was at the Hall of Fame cermony in Cooperstown. I really like Spaghetti Works. Though I like spaghetti, I went with the chicken strips and fries. They good and juicy, but not the best I've ever had. Still, I recommend going there. I'm looking forward to the game. Daddy says Carlos Zambrano is pitching tonight. I hope he behaves! I hope I get to see Cubby Bear. Go Cubs!

Chicken on the Grill, home

Mommy and I went to the Iowa City Farmer's Market on Saturday and got lots of good stuff, including these green beans. Except some of the green beans were yellow and some were purple. For some reason, the purple ones turned green when we cooked them. No problem. They were yummy. The chicken was yummy too. I love chicken on the grill. It was nice and juicy and tasty.
